About

Doctorate (PhD) in Finance, Economics & Strategy from Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai). My research focuses on International Trade and the Global Competitiveness of Agricultural Products. I'm passionate about using innovative ideas and providing insight into the behaviour of International Economics and Agricultural Development. I have completed my Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) and master’s (M.A.) degrees in the area of economics. I worked as a young professional (Y.P.) at the Agricultural Trade Policy, Promotion, and Logistics Development Division, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare, Government of India. I firmly believe in the power of data and evidence for understanding agricultural development in terms of production, Trade, and Competitiveness. Overall, my skills, experience, and passion make me an excellent candidate for International economics, Global Competitiveness, and agricultural development. I am enthusiastic about the prospect of engaging with novel initiatives that have the potential to provide a constructive influence on the global sphere. My research interest lies in international trade, competitiveness, and India’s agricultural trade policies. I have gained knowledge of Global competitiveness, India’s agricultural trade policies, the country's views on the Agreement on Agriculture (AOA), domestic support notifications to the WTO, worked on WTO tariff-rate quota apportionment, competition policy, market access, rules, trade, and development trade policy analysis, as well as analysed regional and international trade issues. Thus, I have a keen interest in international economics and competitiveness. I am committed to my work and strive to constantly learn and develop my skills, particularly when it comes to handling challenging situations with professionalism and grace.
